The Grandes Sections de Maternelle (5-6 yo) had an original school outing to celebrate the Galette des Rois (Kings’ cake)*!
After painting bowls with pretty patterns and special paint, the children had a chance to try their hand at the pottery wheel. At the end of the visit, they were able to choose a bean to take home! These beans are exported to France for Epiphany.
A wonderful school outing at the crossroads of French and Vietnamese cultures, highlighting local skills and enabling children to discover the art of pottery in a fun and educational way.
