The last day before Têt Holidays is traditionally the occasion to celebrate the Lunar New Year at Saint Ange school! Youngsters and adults alike are decked out in their finest Ao Dai, and there's plenty of entertainment on offer!
This year, 16 teams of pupils from Petite Section to CM2 took part in 4 different workshops based on the Tết: lanterns, dragons, tic-tac-toe and tales & illustrations. The "big" captains looked after the kindergarteners and younger children, and led their troops all morning! It was a great way to build cohesion between classes, culminating in a Têt song prepared by the Vietnamese class! At the crèche, dragon celebrations and musical workshops delighted all ages!
Thanks to all the teachers, educational assistants and special mention to the elementary school parents and grand-parents who helped make the morning a success!
HAPPY LUNAR YEAR of the Dragon !
